Get found locally

Shopping arcades, student streets and professional firms.

Leeds city centre is one of the North's main shopping destinations, with its Victorian arcades, Kirkgate Market and the streets around Briggate. Around it sits a busy professional-services sector, with plenty of legal, financial and accountancy firms, and many smaller practices and consultancies that have grown out of it. For them, the website is often the first check a potential client makes after a referral, so it needs to look credible and get to the point.

Beyond the centre, each area has its own rhythm. Headingley and Hyde Park revolve around students from the universities, Chapel Allerton and Roundhay have independent cafés, restaurants and practices, and Kirkstall and Meanwood mix residential streets with small businesses and trades. Searches are local and mostly on phones: people want to know if you're nearby, whether you're open and how to get in touch.

FAQs

Questions from Leeds businesses

Can we meet in Leeds?

No. We're a one-person studio in Frankfurt and work fully remotely, by video call, phone, email and WhatsApp. Frankfurt is only an hour ahead of UK time, so calls are easy to arrange.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. You get a fixed price before we start. After launch there are no monthly fees to us; any changes are charged by the hour (£79 per hour) once agreed. Hosting runs on your own account with the provider; for a typical local business website, its free plan is currently enough, and any hosting fees would be paid directly to the provider. Your domain is extra, about £10–15 a year for a .co.uk.

I don't have much time for the text. How does that work?

No problem: in every package we write the texts and create the images for your site. You answer a few questions on a short checklist and approve everything before it goes live.

How much does a small business website cost in Leeds?

Starter is £790, Standard £1,190 and Premium £2,290.

How is payment handled?

Quotes and invoices are in pounds and paid by international bank transfer.
