To stay online, fast and secure, a website needs a technical foundation and someone who looks after it: hosting, SSL encryption, backups, security checks and quick help when something stops working. Your website runs on your own hosting account. We set it up together with you. For a typical local business website, the provider's free plan is currently enough; any hosting fees would be paid directly to the provider. That way the website is 100 % yours. For $34.99 a month, our Website Service looks after running it: uptime monitoring, regular backups, security checks, your domain, SSL and email connection, a monthly website report, email support and one small change a month (up to 15 min, e.g. hours, prices or one photo). Larger changes are billed by the hour ($149) or covered by Care Active or Plus. For comparison: a website builder often costs $30–60 a month depending on the plan, and you still handle upkeep and security yourself. A typical WordPress site usually adds a maintenance contract of $80–160 a month on top of hosting. Our websites need no plugins and no content management system, so there's very little to maintain. Month-to-month, cancel with 4 weeks' notice before month-end. Your domain is extra (about $20–30 a year for a .ca), registered in your name, so it belongs to you.

Yes. After launch, every website runs on Website Service at $34.99 a month, including monitoring, backups, a monthly website report and one small change a month (up to 15 min). If you have regular changes, you can upgrade: Care Active at $99, with up to 1 hour of changes per month and replies within 24 hours. Care Plus at $179, with up to 2 hours of changes, a monthly SEO and performance check and Google Business Profile upkeep. Larger one-off changes without Care Active or Plus are billed by the hour ($149 per hour).

Yes, any time. Send us changes by email or WhatsApp, such as new prices, photos, hours or news, and we update them quickly. One small change a month (up to 15 min, e.g. hours, prices or one photo) is included in Website Service. Beyond that, changes are included from Care Active ($99 a month), otherwise billed by the hour ($149 per hour).

Every site is built to be technically clean for search engines. From the Standard package, we also do local SEO for your city and neighbourhood. Setting up your Google Business Profile, the biggest lever for “near me” searches, is available as an add-on.

We work 100% remotely: video call, email and WhatsApp. Calls are in English and take place in your morning Eastern Time (Frankfurt is 6 hours ahead of ET, 9 hours ahead of Pacific). We don't have an office in Canada, and we don't need one to build your website.

Yes. A French version is available as an add-on, with its own clean URLs so both languages rank on Google. If you serve customers in Quebec, keep in mind that Quebec has French-language rules for businesses; we're happy to build your site bilingual, but please check the legal details with an advisor.
