Questions from Bristol businesses
You're not in Bristol. Does that matter?
It doesn't need to. We work fully remotely from Frankfurt, by video call, phone, email and WhatsApp, and you deal with one person throughout. We won't pretend to have a local office, and we don't offer in-person meetings.
Why hand-coded rather than a site builder?
Hand-coded sites load faster, need no plugins or updates, and don't tie you to a platform. Hosting runs on your own account with the provider; for a typical local business website, its free plan is currently enough, and any hosting fees would be paid directly to the provider. Your domain is extra, about £10–15 a year.
Can I post news or events myself?
Yes. A simple blog or news section you can update yourself is available as an add-on (£349). Otherwise just email us and we'll post it for you.
What does a small business website cost in Bristol?
