Frequently asked questions from Basel
Do you meet clients in Basel?
No, we work fully remotely from Frankfurt, by video call, phone, email and WhatsApp, in the same time zone. Calls are in English or German; there's no office in Switzerland.
My customers come from Switzerland, Germany and France. Which languages do I need?
That depends on who books with you. Many Basel businesses start with English and German and add French if a lot of customers come from Alsace. Each additional language costs CHF 489, translation included.
I'm a consultant going independent. Which package makes sense?
For a focused consulting site, Starter (CHF 1’190) or Standard (CHF 1’690) is usually enough. You don't need to write anything: in every package we create the texts and images from your answers to a short checklist, and you approve everything.
What are the running costs?
No monthly fees to us: the website is 100 % yours. If you need changes later, they are billed at CHF 109 per hour in 15-minute increments, or you use a prepaid hour pack (5 hours for CHF 479, 10 hours for CHF 869, valid 12 months). Hosting runs on your own account with the provider; for a typical SME website, its free plan is currently enough, and any hosting fees would be paid directly to the provider. Your domain is extra, about CHF 15–20 a year for a .ch.
How are invoices handled?
Quotes and invoices are in CHF and paid by international bank transfer.
