Web design Ottawa · English and French
In Ottawa, your customers might be anglophone, francophone or switch between the two in the same sentence. We build custom websites for the capital's clinics, shops, restaurants and consultants, in English with a French version when you need it, at one fixed price in CAD. We work remotely from Frankfurt, with calls in your morning Eastern Time.
Get found locally
The federal government shapes Ottawa's economy, and that brings a large, stable workforce and many consultants, contractors and professional firms that serve it. Their clients read carefully and compare before they get in touch, so a clear, well-organized site with proper contact details and a professional tone tends to work better than anything flashy. Being able to offer information in French is often a real plus, especially for businesses that also serve Gatineau across the river.
Neighbourhood life is just as important. The ByWard Market is packed with restaurants and shops, the Glebe and Westboro have independent boutiques, cafés and fitness studios, Hintonburg has a growing food and arts scene, and Orléans and Kanata have many families and bilingual households. Winter brings Winterlude and skaters on the Rideau Canal, summer brings Canada Day crowds, and in both seasons visitors look for nearby places on their phones.
Local search
Many Ottawa residents search in both languages, so a French version with its own URLs lets you appear for both. From the Standard package we optimize for your neighbourhood, and a Google Business Profile ($439) can carry your details in English and French.

Go-liveFAQ
Yes. English is the default, and a French version is available from $689, translation included. Each language gets its own URLs and language tags, with a simple switcher, so both rank properly and neither feels like an afterthought.
Quebec has French-language rules for businesses, so if you actively serve customers there, a full French version is a good idea. We're happy to build your site bilingual, but please check the legal details with an advisor, as we don't give legal advice.
We don't offer in-person meetings. We work fully remotely from Frankfurt, Germany: video call, phone, email and WhatsApp. Calls are in English and take place in your morning Eastern Time; written messages in French are fine too.
The Standard package is $2,290, and a French version is added from $689. All prices are fixed in CAD. Hosting runs on your own account with the provider; for a typical local business website, its free plan is currently enough, and any hosting fees would be paid directly to the provider.
Usually 2 to 6 weeks depending on the package, once we have your answers to our short checklist. A bilingual site needs a little more time for translation, and express delivery ($529) roughly halves the timeline.
